The final spatial accuracy is ±2 m (@ 95% confidence).

  • This dataset represents the linears at or near the surface and comprises arcs with attributes describing the accuracy of location and type of lineament. The dataset is part of the Geology of the Tongariro National Park area collection produced by GNS Science. It is stored in an ESRI vector geodatabase and exported to a shapefile. The mapping frame within which the features have been observed is defined as surface geology (i.e. the bedrock and superficial deposits that are exposed at the topographic surface or would be visible if the overlying soil was removed). The data structure complies with the GeoSciML 4.1 standard, where relevant, and uses the appropriate CGI Controlled Vocabularies. The dataset is associated with Townsend DB, Leonard GS, Pure LR, Conway CE, Eaves SR, Wilson CJN (compilers) 2020. Geology of the Tongariro National Park area 1:60 000. GNS Science geological map 4. Digital vector data (2nd ed.). Lower Hutt, New Zealand. GNS Science.

  • This layer contains the DSM for LiDAR data from the Queenstown Area in the Otago Region captured in 2016. - The DEM is available as layer [Otago - Queenstown LiDAR 1m DEM (2016)](https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/99115-otago-queenstown-lidar-1m-dem-2016/). - The index tiles are available as layer [Otago - Queenstown LiDAR Index Tiles (2016)](https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/99121-otago-queenstown-lidar-index-tiles-2016/). - The LAS point cloud and vendor project reports are available from [OpenTopography](https://portal.opentopography.org/datasets?loc=New%20Zealand). Lidar was captured for Otago Regional Council by Aerial Surveys in March and April 2016. The datasets were generated by Aerial Surveys and their subcontractors. Data management and distribution is by Land Information New Zealand. Data comprises: - DEM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout - DSM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout - Point cloud: las tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout Pulse density is 2 pulses/square metre. Vertical accuracy specification is +/- 0.044m (95%). Vertical datum is NZVD2016.

  • This dataset represents the supplementary geological boundariespresent at or near the surface and contains bounding contacts to geological units that are not included within the geological boundaries dataset such those concealed beneath other mapped geological units and the limit of geological mapping (e.g where the geology is hidden beneath permanent ice). The data structure complies with the GeoSciML 4.1 standard for ContactView and uses the appropriate CGI Controlled Vocabularies. The dataset is associated with Townsend DB, Leonard GS, Pure LR, Conway CE, Eaves SR, Wilson CJN (compilers) 2020. Geology of the Tongariro National Park area 1:60 000. GNS Science geological map 4. • This is the look-up table for Address Component Type and is part of the [AIMS: Street Address](https://data.linz.govt.nz/set/4787/). It is used by the following tables: AIMS: Address Component. Refer to the [NZ Addresses Data Dictionary](https://data.linz.govt.nz/document/24489) for detailed metadata and information about this dataset. --- **Background** This dataset provides all allocated addresses as advised to Toitū Te Whenua LINZ by Territorial Authorities (TAs). Under the Local Government Act 1974 (section 319) it is the responsibility of the TAs to advise the Surveyor-General at Toitū Te Whenua LINZ of all allocated addresses in their district. The dataset is maintained by Toitū Te Whenua LINZ in the Address Information Management System (AIMS) which is centralised database for the management of national addresses, including for electoral purposes. This dataset is updated weekly on the LINZ Data Service. For a simplified version of the data contained within these tables see [NZ Addresses](https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/105689)

  • The Moturiki 1953 to NZVD2016 Conversion Raster provides users with a two arc-minute (approximately 3.6 kilometres) raster image of the conversion of normal-orthometric heights from the Moturiki 1953 local vertical datum to the New Zealand Vertical Datum 2016 (NZVD2016). The conversion value is represented by the attribute “O”, in metres. This conversion and NZVD2016 are formally defined in the LINZ standard [LINZS25009](http://www.linz.govt.nz/regulatory/25009). The height conversion grid models the difference between the Moturiki 1953 vertical datum and NZVD2016 using the LINZ GPS-levelling marks. From the GPS-levelling marks the expected accuracy is better than 2 centimetres (95% Confidence interval). More information on converting heights between vertical datums can be found [on the LINZ website](http://www.linz.govt.nz/data/geodetic-services/coordinate-conversion/converting-between-nzvd2016-nzgd2000-and-local-vertical-datums).
