Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc. Imagery supplied as 30cm pixel resolution (0.30 m GSD), 3-band (RGB) uncompressed GeoTIFF. The final spatial accuracy is ±0.5 m @ 95% confidence level. Index tiles for this dataset are available as layer [Tasman 0.3m Rural Aerial Photos Index Tiles (2018-2019)](http://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/104069)

  • This layer contains the index tiles for LiDAR data encompassing coastal areas from Onekaka in the North to Riwaka in the the South captured in 2016. - The DEM is available as layer [Tasman - Abel Tasman and Golden Bay LiDAR 1m DEM (2016)](http://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/95578-tasman-abel-tasman-and-golden-bay-lidar-1m-dem-2016/). - The DSM is available as layer [Tasman - Abel Tasman and Golden Bay LiDAR 1m DSM (2016)](http://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/95579-tasman-abel-tasman-and-golden-bay-lidar-1m-dsm-2016/). - The LAS point cloud and vendor project reports are available from [OpenTopography](https://portal.opentopography.org/datasets?loc=New%20Zealand). Lidar was captured for Tasman District Council by AAM New Zealand in December 2016. The datasets were generated by AAM New Zealand and their subcontractors. Data management and distribution is by Land Information New Zealand. Data comprises: - DEM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout - DSM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout - Point cloud: las tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:2,000 tile layout Pulse density specification is 2 pulses/square metre. Vertical accuracy specification is +/- 0.12m (95%). Horizontal accuracy specification is +/- 1.00m (95%). Vertical datum is NZVD2016.

  • In addition to contour lines, relief shading helps visualise the terrain. Hills and valleys are shaded as if they were illuminated from the north-west. Relief layers were generated for each sheet, and specifically for use in the Topo50 map series. There may be subtle differences in the relief shading of adjacent map sheets. Where no contour information exists, relief shading has not been produced. The Topo50 map series provides topographic mapping for the New Zealand mainland, the Chatham Islands, and offshore islands at 1:50,000 scale (some of the islands at 1:25,000). • Index Tiles ONLY, for actual orthophotos see layer [Canterbury - Waitaki 0.3m Rural Aerial Photos (2021)](http://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/106759) Orthophotography within the Canterbury and Otago Regions captured in 2021. Coverage encompasses parts of Waitaki and Waimate Districts, including the lower reaches of the Waitaki river, the Hakataramea Valley, and coastal North Otago. Imagery was captured for Environment Canterbury by Landpro Ltd, 13 Pinot Noir Drive, Cromwell 9310, New Zealand. Data comprises: • 933 ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:5000 tile layout • Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information. The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. Please refer to the tile index layer for specific details, naming conventions, etc. Imagery supplied as 30cm pixel resolution (0.3m GSD), 3-band (RGB) GeoTIFF. The final spatial accuracy is ±2m at 90% confidence level in clear flat areas for tiles in the area of interest of the survey. This dataset includes some image tiles labelled as peripheral by the supplier, being imagery captured which was outside the area of interest of the survey. These peripheral tiles may contain artefacts from orthrectifcation, do not have a stated spatial accuracy, and may not be suitable for all purposes. Whether a tile is in the area of interest or is peripheral is noted in the 'AOI' column.
