- Statement
- The New Zealand slab depth digitial grid of Williams et al. (2013) and global slab depth digital grids of Hayes (2018) were the principal information sources for this layer. They were merged into a single grid by Charles Williams. Smoothed contours were drawn on this grid by Nick Mortimer and captured as vector data using QGIS software in 2019. Subsequent attribution and verification was done by Nick Mortimer and Belinda Smith Lyttle in ArcGIS.
