- Statement
- Marine free-air gravity data release 24.1 of Sandwell et al. (2014), GEBCO's 2019 continuous terrain model of the global oceans and land, and the Smithsonian Institution's 'Volcanoes of the World' database of Holocene and Pleistocene volcanoes were the starting datasets for this layer. These were supplemented by geological information from Edbrooke et al. (2015) and other sources listed in Mortimer (2020). All these data and information sources were collectively interpreted by Nick Mortimer and captured as vector data using QGIS software in 2019. Subsequent attribution and verification was done by Nick Mortimer and Belinda Smith Lyttle in ArcGIS.
