NZL_GNS_GM5_aeromagnetic_interpretation_line
Magnetic lineations are identified as line features and described in terms of relative frequency and amplitude. This data layer contains interpretation of the total magnetic intensity reduced to pole aeromagnetic data from the Glass Earth geophysical survey undertaken in 2007. The data layer is part of the 'Geology of the Middlemarch area' 1:50 000 dataset covering a part of East Otago around Middlemarch township.

- Purpose
-
This data layer spatially represents an interpretation of lineations and boundaries described by the total magnetic intensity reduced to pole aeromagnetic data. These data are compiled for use at a scale of 1:50 000.

- Statement
-
A helicopter-borne Central Otago geophysical survey was flown in 2007 by Fugro Airborne Surveys Pty Ltd for Glass Earth NZ Ltd. Geophysical data fro this survey was interpreted by Adam Martin. Data interpretation was captured as vector data using ESRI ArcScan software in 2015 and verified and attributed by AP Martin and B Smith Lyttle.
