Orthophotography within the Otago Region taken in the flying seasons (summer period) 2018. Coverage encompassed the urban areas within the Central Otago District.
Imagery was captured for Central Otago District Council by Aerial Surveys Ltd, Unit A1, 8 Saturn Place, Albany,0632, New Zealand.
Data comprises:
•898 ortho-rectified RGB GeoTIFF images in NZTM projection, tiled into the LINZ Standard 1:1,000 tile layout
•Tile layout in NZTM projection containing relevant information.
The supplied imagery is in terms of New Zealand Transverse Mercator (NZTM) map projection. Please refer to the supplied tile layout shape file for specific details, naming conventions, etc.
Imagery supplied as 10.0cm pixel resolution (0.1m GSD), 3-band (RGB) uncompressed GeoTIFF. The final spatial accuracy is ±0.2 m @ 95% confidence level in clear open areas (2 sigma).

Project
Aerial photography was captured over 11 urban areas in the Central Otago District totalling
approximately 76 km 2 . The areas of capture are located in the Otago Region of the South Island.
Data Acquisition
Aerial photography was captured using Vexcel's digital UCE camera:
15 January 2018 and 29 January 2018.
