2021 Kaikōura March LiDAR
LiDAR was commissioned by GNS Science for earthquake recovery purposes for Kaikōura. LiDAR was captured by Aerial Surveys Ltd after the 14 November 2016 earthquake. Coverage includes the Hapuku and Kowhai riverbeds/catchments, the coastal Papatea area and the Stanton and Leader landslide dams (Epoch 10).
The collection of this dataset was funded by the New Zealand Governments Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment's Endeavour fund as part of the work carried out for the Earthquake Induced Landscape Dynamics project (C05X1709).

Horizontal: NZTM2000 NZGD2000
Vertical: NZVD2016
Imagery is supplied in terms of NZTM NZGD2000. The ground sample distance of the orthophotos is 25cm.
